Privacy Policy
Circle POS, Inc. · Effective October 12, 2026 · This policy covers the Circle website and the Circle app for Android.What we collect
- Account information — your email, name and business name when you sign up.
- What you make — captions, posts, blog posts, link pages and settings you save to your account. Photos and videos you put into a short stay on your phone unless you choose to share them on the Circle front page or use them on your website.
- Camera and microphone — used only while you film a clip or record a voice-over in the app. Recordings stay on your phone unless you save or share them.
- Voice captions — if you turn on “Turn what I say into captions”, your browser’s or phone’s own speech recognition (for example Google in Chrome or Apple in Safari) turns your voice into text. Circle does not receive the audio; only the text you keep is saved with your short.
- Payments — handled by Stripe. We do not store card numbers; we keep the last four digits and expiry date Stripe returns.
- Usage counts — how many shorts, posts and blog posts you made this month, to show your plan's limits and your weekly goal.
How we use it
To run your account and tools, show your website and link page, process payments, and send reminders you turn on. We do not sell your information and we do not show third-party ads.
Services that process data for us
- Anthropic — writes captions, posts, blog posts and ad plans from the text you give it.
- Stripe — payments.
- Pexels — free photo search (your search words are sent to Pexels).
- Microsoft Azure — hosting.
Notifications
The app can remind you twice a week to make a short. The reminders are set on your phone; you can turn them off in your phone's settings.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your data while your account is open. You can delete your account any time in the app or on the web (how to delete your account). Your account, websites, posts, link page and shared shorts are deleted right away; payment records are kept as the law requires.
Children and teens
Circle is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If we learn that a child under 13 has an account, we delete it. People aged 13 to 17 may use Circle with a parent's or guardian's permission; purchases must be made by an adult. A parent or guardian can ask us to delete a teen's account at support@circleposusa.com.
